Rathnam Leathers is a partnership firm , led by Mr. A.R. Senthilkumar and Mr. K.F. Shamsuddin —two individuals whose journey began from the ground up. Starting their careers as a supervisor and a technician, they combined their hands-on expertise and shared passion to build a brand that today stands as a trusted name in the global leather industry.
Their deep understanding of the craft, commitment to continuous learning, and visionary approach laid the foundation for what Rathnam Leathers is today—a brand whose leathers are proudly remembered and recognized in products from leading global brands.
Our growth is driven not only by technical excellence but also by a strong commitment to ethical and sustainable practices. We actively engage with internationally recognized sustainability platforms and are honored to hold Gold Certification from the Leather Working Group (LWG), Sweden Textile Water Initiative (STWI), SEDEX 4 Pillar Audited, Higg Index, and we are Honored to receive the 1st tannery in India on ZDHC (Zero Discharge of Hazardous Chemicals) Road to Zero Level 1 —a mark of our responsible sourcing, reduced environmental footprint, and sustainable production.
